Carlo Gavazzi EM340-S1 Modbus is an advanced 3-phase electricity meter designed to provide accurate and reliable measurement of your energy consumption. With its compact design, Modbus RTU communication and MID approval, it is ideal for a wide range of applications, from photovoltaic installations to industrial energy management, or for the home.
The EM340-S1 Modbus is a range of compact energy meters where the 3-phase electricity meter is only three modules wide. The display is a backlit LCD display for clear and concise reading. Switching between different measurement pages (V=Volt A=Ampere and Kwh) and all other management is done using the touch fields at the bottom of the display.

The electricity meter is ideal for all types of applications in both industry and property. Modbus or Mbus?
The Modbus meter is the choice to make if you want the cheapest way to log your electricity meter with the Logger 1010. M-bus is another system, commonly used in the EU for remote reading of mainly heat and water meters. If you intend to read your electricity meter remotely, make sure you choose the right system.
