Daikin Comfora XTH25 is a slightly simpler heat pump suitable for those who do not have such a large space for the indoor part, e.g. fits perfectly for you to replace an older Panasonic air heat pump, similar dimensions allow you to install in the same place. Comfora XTH25 provides 2.9 kW output power at -25°C outdoor temperature!
Placing the heat pump on the wall above the front door is often a good solution for optimal heat distribution in your house, often this location is also good for not being disturbed by noise or drafts from the indoor unit. Comfora XTH has an extra low construction height, only 286 mm. The fan speed is optimised for placement above the door in a hallway, Comfora XTH has an extra long throw length, which means that the hot (or cold) air penetrates properly into the house and gives you the temperature you want.
A simple and clear remote control makes it easy even for those with less interest in "technology" to use the machine. Large clear buttons to select heating or cooling and to set the temperature make this machine exemplary easy to operate. View remote control in new window.
Below I give a couple of examples of what you can expect the heat pump to be able to heat on its own at -25°C and -15°C outside, the conditions are that we strive for 20 degrees room temperature and that the estimated power requirement/m2 is 45 W/m2 at -25°C and 35 W/m2 at -15°C (ceiling height 240-250 cm). This corresponds to the power requirement in our Älvsby house built in 1974 (13 cm insulation in the walls, 200-250 mm in the ceiling and floor).
Comfora XTH25 is suitable for the small villa, cottage or smaller garage, with 2.9 kW output power you heat about 64 m2 at -25°C outdoor temperature. At -15°C outdoor temperature, the heat pump provides 4.2 kW and heats about 100 m2 on its own.

The Daikin WiFi controller allows you to adjust the room temperature, fan speed and operation mode from your smartphone - wherever and whenever you want. In addition, you can keep an eye on the heat pump's power consumption (applies to selected models). With Daikin's WiFi adapter and IFTTT, you create recipes to control your heat pump. Either let the weather decide, or choose how warm you want it to be when you come home from work. The controller recognises your location information and adjusts the heat settings accordingly.
