The sponge works a bit like an eraser, it is "consumed" during use, we therefore recommend that you divide a sponge in the middle when cleaning larger areas (such as the pool waterline), this means that it lasts longer, normally a sponge is enough for cleaning an entire pool measuring up to 4 X 8 meters.
